BCAR Raised over $86,000 for RPAC!

BCAR Exceeds the 2016 RPAC Goal

In 2015, BCAR exceeded our RPAC fundraising goal for the first time since 2007,but in 2016 we did even better! At the second annual Major Investors Dinner on Monday night, BCAR was able to raise almost $40,000 bringing our total RPAC funds for the year to $86,244.58. This exceeds our goal of $70,924 given to us by AAR by 121%!
This great accomplishment could not have been possible without the hard work from our RPAC committee, all the BCAR members that gave their fair share for 2016, and also all the major investors who stepped up for RPAC. We appreciate all of your contributions very much, as they help protect our industry.
The Major Investors Dinner is a special invitation event for BCAR’s top producers and previous major investors. This year’s dinner was held at the Villagio Grille at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Special guest speakers Congressman Bradley Byrne, RPAC’s Major Investor Council Chair, Judy Moore, AAR President, Shawn Reeves, and AAR CEO Jeremy Walker also attended the dinner.
The event was made possible by a special grant from NAR. The grant is provided to local associations to help host RPAC events in order to raise funds to help elect REALTOR friendly candidates. BCAR would also like to pass a special thank you along to Shannon Hesse, who was the chair of this event and organized an elegant and productive night with her RPAC Committee.
